Define root for volumes

Customize the appSettings.xml to set the Root data directory.

DB.RootVolumeUrl value

For the root volume name, if it's on your local machine, assuming volumes is the name of a share and the static IP is 192.168.1.100, put file://192.168.1.100/volumes; if the IP is dynamic and the server name is CALISTO and volumes is the name of a share, put file://CALISTO/volumes.

Important

If you edit APPSETTINGS.XML any time later on an already installed GN4 system, remember to close Ted4, Fred4 and browser and then recycle the application pool to apply changes.
