You may wonder what's exact width of the page columns. To find it out, use the Measuring tool in Acrobat.

On the Tools menu, locate Measure tool and then click it.

In the toolbar, click the Measuring Tool and then drag from start point to the end.

Click on the starting point, and then move the mouse to the end point.
