Table-like directory styles contain a header (1), columns and rows (2) and optional scroll bars, as on below article list (Articles main tab, Articles navigator, the List directory style). Every record is displayed in own row. The row background color is automatically interleaved to provide a better readability.
Should more rows exist in the list than displayed, a vertical scroll (3) bar automatically appears. Shouldn't all columns be entirely displayed, a horizontal scroll (4) bar automatically appears. Drag scroll bars to unhide the hidden content.
Click a row, to select it. Hover over icon to display a tooltip.
