Yes. The server computer needs to connect periodically to the Tera license server, to renew the presence. Should this fail for more than 30 consecutive days, a license may expire. |

1.Make a backup of the existing version, to be able to step back. 2.Check if the license is still ok before the upgrade. 3.If the license is expired, use the existing build to renew the license, with the following steps: a.Ask Tera support to renew the license b.When you receive the confirmation that the license was renewed, launch srv4 license. c.Recycle the application pool. 4.Now, upgrade the software. |
The license is counted only if you work on something, e.g. open a page, an article, etc. |
