Create new tracking layout

You can create a new tracking layout to begin tracking of the designated edition, or set of pages. Use the Tracking main tab in Fred4 to perform the listed tasks.

1.Open the Tracking main tab in Fred4.

2.On the File menu, click New layout.

3.Click the Editions navigator, and then select the title and other optional search criteria.

4.Click the 113_Refresh_16 refresh button to get the list of editions, corresponding to the search criteria entered.

5.Click an edition and then drag it on the tracking view zone (over "Drop edition or pages here...")

6.Wait until edition loads.

7.Save the tracking layout, specifying the name you want.

1.Open the Tracking main tab in Fred4.

2.On the File menu, click New layout.

3.Click the Pages navigator, and then select the title and edition.

4.Click the 113_Refresh_16 refresh button to get the list of pages, corresponding to the search criteria entered.

5.Select one or more pages and then drag them on the tracking view zone (over "Drop edition or pages here...")

6.Wait until pages load.

7.If you want, select another edition, and then repeat steps #4 through #6.

8.Save the tracking layout, specifying the name you want.

Note: only the users who have the "write ref" permission enabled for the current title, can create tracking layouts.
