Copy an article with shapes on another page

You can duplicate the selected article on a source page onto a target page as content and shapes, or as shapes only.

There is a slight difference if you are doing it on the pages of the same edition, opened in a multi-page view, or on a pages of the same or different editions opened on a separate tabs.

Copy an article with shapes on another page of the same edition in a multi-page view

1.Press the middle button of the mouse to auto-select all the shapes linked to the source article.

2.CTRL+Right Click the selected shapes and then, when prompted, click Yes: the copy of the shape is appended on the mouse pointer.

3.Place the mouse pointer over an empty space on the source page and then click the left mouse button.

4.When prompted for the article copy name, accept or change the proposed name and then click OK.

5.While the article layout is still selected, drag it over the target page.

6.Save the target page.

Copy an article with shapes on another page opened in a separate tab

1.Press the middle button of the mouse to auto-select all the shapes linked to the source article.

2.CTRL+Right Click the selected shapes and then, when prompted, click Yes: the copy of the shape is appended on the mouse pointer.

3.Place the mouse pointer over an empty space on the page and then click the left mouse button.

4.When prompted for the article copy name, accept or change the proposed name and then click OK.

5.Select the article duplicate, and then press CTRL+X.

6.Save the source page.

7.Open the target page, and then press CTRL+V.

8.Save the target page.
