External documents are displayed on the Documents tab. It automatically displays the Elements tab, with the list of content, linked to the selected document. For the selected document, you can also display the preview. Master pages tab is not used.

An element row of the Documents tab is fully configurable in Fred4 configuration at <InfoPanel Name="EdtExtDocDataTemplate" ObjectTypeName="extDoc">.

Generic icons are displayed if no preview is available.

An element can be accessed from scripting (an "Edit" example is present in the context menu).

The row appearance is fully xaml configurable in fred4_Config.xml InfoPanel "EdtExtLinkDataTemplate".
