changevolume [-<option> . . .]

Changes the volume used by a binary data attribute of one or more objects.

This command does not exist in cmd4.

Options

[-ids] <comma-separated database ids>

Database ids of the objects to consider.

-attr <attribute type - specified using its full name>

Data content attribute to modify.

-name <string>

Destination volume. Leave empty to move the binary data into the database.

-conditions <string>

File or search configuration containing the search conditions used to select the objects to consider.

-pars <list of name-value pairs in the format 'name1:value1;name2:value2...'; e.g. 'folderId:30;cmd:up' to define a 'folderId' parameter with value 30 and a 'cmd' parameter with value 'up'.>

Optional parameters used to replace variables in the search conditions

-by <integer>

Number of objects to handle together when selecting objects using a search condition. Greater the number quicker the operation is, and longer locks are put on the database. Optional, default value 500. If set to 0 all objects are processed together.

Changes in version 1.4

When moving binary data to a different volume using "srv4 changevolume" the process stopped if any of the objects was in use. Now the process does not stop, the volume is changed for all the objects that can be checked-out, and a list of the errors is displayed at the end.
