You can archive directly individual articles, stories, images, videos and audios.

To archive from the Web interface select the objects to archive and use the new 'Actions|Archive' menu entry:

archiving14

From Ted4/Fred4 use the context menu:

archiving15

When archiving articles and stories, all the images /videos / audios that they reference are automatically archived as well, and the references are maintained.

The archived objects will be stored in the default archiving folder '_' used for objects without an associated publication. This folder is defined in the configuration file C:\Tera\GN4\Main\config\Global\GN4_Tark4_Common\xsl_ImportDocumentsNameMap.xml.

The user executing the command must have write access permissions on this folder.

If the same object is archived twice it will not create two different objects in the archive, the second time it will just modify the object already in the archive.

Trying to archive objects within the archive folders have no effect.

This is defined in:

  Config\Global\GN4\gnpc_Config.xml

  Config\Global\GN4\ted4_TabItems.xml

  Config\Global\GN4\wf_ArchiveObjects.xml

  Config\Global\GN4\xsl_Archive.xslt

  Config\Data\GN4\securityScope_Default.xml

Config\Global\GN4_Tark4_Common\xsl_ImportDocumentsNameMap.xml (that is called by wf_ArchiveObjects.xml)
