To add a new control, display Toolbox (View > Toolbox) and then drag the control on the empty space of the content zone on the tab.

Right-click the control and then in the Properties dialog, rename the control identifier (field Name) to something easy to remember. Scroll down the properties list, and in Text field, enter the label name.
