GN4 functionalities are protected by licenses. The licenses can guarantee the system access to the specific users independently of the number of logged users ('named' licenses), or only if the system is not fully complete ('concurrent' licenses). Certain license type can allow the access of any number of users to the searching facilities ('public' licenses). Other licenses provide access to the specific system functionalities either for specific number of users simultaneously, or disregarding the number of users.('designer' licenses, Exalead licenses, Budget licenses and so on).

About SQL licenses

As GN4 can be accessed via Web, the SQL license needs to be of the server type.
