cmd4 is the command-line configuration utility. It is part of GN4 suite. During the system installation, it gets extracted from the GN4.ZIP or GN4_64.ZIP and stored in the default application folder.

cmd4.exe connects to the GN4 database through Web server (therefore, unlike srv4, cmd4 connects as browser and GN4 client applications, through Web server).
