This example explains how to get XML for a page.

THE PROCEDURE EXPLAINED IN THIS TOPIC, IF APPLIED WITH INAPPROPRIATE PARAMETERS, MAY BRING A GN4 SERVER TO A HALT BY REQUESTING A MULTI-GIGABYTES XML FILE!

DO NOT USE MORE THAN 6 LEVELS IN THE MAX CLAUSE!

DO NOT USE OBJSNAV COMMAND WITHOUT THE MAX CLAUSE!

If you are not an experienced troubleshooter, do not proceed!

To get XML from database for a page by objsnav command

1.Log into the User Browser or i4, and then duplicate a tab.

2.Edit the url so it becomes http://main.teradp.com/GN4/do.ashx?cmd=objsnav&ids=69918&max=6

3.Press Enter to display the object XML.
