Nonprinting objects are: text and image frames, vertical and horizontal guides and margin guides.

Such objects normally never appear on the printout. Moreover, you can exclude selected objects from printing, by clearing for them the Printable element check box on the Miscellaneous palette.

When printing a layout of a page, frames and guides, except margin guides, are printed.

To print other objects, set as nonprinting, set them as Printable element on the Misc palette. It is not possible to temporarily override such setting.

Printing guides

To print also guides, under Content, select Also guides.

To print nonprinting objects, under Content, select Also non printables.
