A graphics is always linked to a page in Fred4 - even when you paste it from another Fred4's page.

A graphics can be linked as many times as you want to any number of pages and editions. This does not duplicate the graphics itself - all the links point to the same graphics element in the database. But, every linked instance may be transformed independently. This includes scaling, zooming, cropping, rotating, masking with paths, converting to gray scale etc.
