•To show the stroke palette (GN4 term: Rule & Dash), on the Window menu, point to Palettes sidebar, and then select the Rule & Dash.

•To hide a palette, repeat the above.

•If the palette is docked in the Control palette, click its tab to bring it in the foreground.
