You may want to keep the headline height unchanged during boxing, so that the headline frame in an article gets shrunk only horizontally. This avoids that the headline content becomes too high for the height of the headline frame during boxing.
An exception of the rule is when the headline frame is the only frame in the selection: then it is shrunk horizontally and vertically, as other frames.
Note: since the headline frame gets shrunk horizontally in any case, headline still can become too wide for the new width, and get out of the frame. In that case, use the paragraph fitting to keep the headline in the box.
Important: the keep headline height works well for the headlines that are above body, and may not work correctly for headlines in different positions (e.g. headline below image, side headline etc). In that case, clear the Keep head height box.
To keep the headline height when boxing
1.Select all article frames and images. 2.On the Tools menu, point to Box, and then click Box and Unbox. 3.In the dialog box, under Preset, select one of factory presets. 4.To change predefined values for weight and margins, enter what you want in Weight, and margins boxes. 5.Select Keep head height and then click OK. |
Important: ensure to select the box itself and all the boxed objects on one article layout only. On the Tools menu, point to Box, and then click Box and Unbox. In the dialog box, change what you want: preset, weight, margins, grouping and other options. The selection gets reboxed with new values |
