1. | Draw a box of appropriate dimensions on a page in Fred4, or insert an article image placeholder and make sure it is selected. |
2. | On the Images menu, click Insert, and then select the title, desk and folder. |
3. | Select Show preview, and then click a image: the preview appears. |
4. | Click OK. |
5. | Confirm you want to replace the selected object. This displays a dialog box (if the dialog box is not displayed, see the note): |
6. | Do one of the following: |
•Select Crop if the image is wider AND higher than the placeholder. The placeholder will not change its dimensions. This is not available if the picture is smaller of the placeholder.
•Select Fit to fit one side of the image in the placeholder and to crop the other side. The placeholder will not change its dimensions.
•Select Resize to fit one side of the image to the placeholder and to scale the image to fit the other side. The placeholder will not change its dimensions. Warning: this may lead to the distortion of the image.
Note:
•If the dialog box is not displayed, the reason may be that the AppSetImgProcessing was set to value different than 0. Make sure the script you are using to insert images sets the appropriate value.
