About article elements and frame types

When linking the frames to the article elements, Fred4 checks the XML schema, to find out if the article element can flow in more than one frame, or it should force the creation of a new article element. For example, when linking a new body frame to existing linked body text, the frame is used to overflow the text, and won't create a new body element. On the contrary, when you link a new image caption frame, the new image caption element is added to the article.

The default schema marks the element types as:

Can be linked to the multiple frames: head, subhead, body, pullquote, url caption

Can be linked to a single frame only: jumphead, kicker, intro, caption

Multimedia cannot be linked to frames at all (although it can be part of an article)

You can change these settings.
