You may want to drag a zoom selection around part of the page, to zoom it closer.

To do it, on the Tools toolbar, click the zoom icon , click on the page where you want and then drag around objects you want to zoom. Release the mouse button when ready.

Note: do not make extremely small selections, as it won't work. The maximum zoom range is 5% to 4440%. If your very small selection requires higher zoom level, the zoom won't be changed at all, and Fred4 will keep the current zoom level.
