Save current page

On the File menu, point to Save and then click Current.

Save all open pages in the current tab

Click Save All Pages in This Tab, to save all open pages in the current tab.

Save all open pages

Click Save All Pages in All Tabs.

Saving a page updates all the related data in the database: page elements, links to articles and images, page history, metadata. Protect your work by saving often. Besides saving a page in the database, you can also save a page as:

An EPS image of the page (not yet implemented).

A PDF of the page.

Notes

Fred4 does not save fonts used on a page, or colors, as they are globals on the system level.

It is not possible to Save As, or Save a Copy.

Page save updates all the shapes (if they've been changed) in all the linked article elements that are open in Ted4 and rebuilds the page thumbnail.

Save does not store which page is currently displayed, nor the zoom level.

Fred4 saves only modified pages. If a page is not modified, it's not saved again.
