A powerful and comprehensive migration strategy is the key to the success of any implementation. Both customer and Miles 33 will work as a team for the finalisation of the migration process and objectives. Key components must be identified for the migration process in all respective areas of Editorial, Advertising, Production and Archiving.
The customer accounts and history, rate cards, styles and formats, relationships of various components must be included in the final migration process.
Hardware Installation
All hardware installation and configuration will be performed according to the Project Specification and User Requirements. Clustering, high availability configuration, database replication and clients' connectivity will be configured and installed.
Application Installation and Configuration
Upon completion of hardware installation, the application installation will commence. All customisation and configuration including styles and formats, page and edition templates, rate cards, archiving options, etc., will be configured into the various applications.
User Acceptance Test (UAT)
Upon completion of the application configuration, the user acceptance test will begin. The objective of the test is to ensure all functions and features in the system have been tested and verified by the respective users.
Test scripts are required to be produced prior to the UAT. Representatives from all functional departments of customer are recommended to participate in the testing.

•Stress / Volume Test
•Speed trials
