Move the insertion point in text
•Point and click in the text.
•Use the arrow keys.
•Use the Page Up/Page Down keys.
Note
Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys move the insertion point in one-line steps, while PgUp and PgDn move for more lines.
Select in text
•Click and drag.
•To select a word, double-click it.
•To select a paragraph, triple-click it.
•There's no provision to select a sentence.
Insert text in existing text
By default, any new text you type is inserted between existing text. If you want to replace or "type over" text, highlight a block of text to replace and then type over.
Replace selected text as you type
When you select text and start typing, browser replaces the entire selection with the first character you type. This saves editing time, because you can delete and replace text in one step.
Restore the text after an involuntary editing
Press CTRL+Z.
To undo an undone change
Press CTRL+Y.
