In the standard configuration of GN4, Ted4 is an independent application with the same purpose as GN3 Ted.

More precisely, GN3 Ted corresponds to the Articles main tab in Ted4 or Fred4. This means that you can find the functionalities of Ted4 also in Fred4. Moreover, Ted4 incorporates all the GN3 Shell functionalities (on the Shell main tab).

There are some differences between the Articles Main Tab in Ted4/Fred4 and GN3 Ted. This chapter leads you through all the standard menu commands of GN3 Ted and explains where are those functionalities on the GN4 Articles main tab.

Note: this chapter does not describe the new features, offered by GN4. Here we concentrate on helping experienced GN3 users to find, in GN4, commands they were used to in GN3.
