You can delete an unneeded content in text you are editing in i4, GNPortal, on the Articles or on the Pages main tab.
The deleted text content will be gone from the current version, and preserved only in previous versions of the text (if the versioning is enabled. For the details about enabling versioning, see Configuring Versioning).
Note about undo
If you deleted a text content, but didn't close the text element yes, you can undo the deletion and get the text content back. Have in mind that the undo is sequential: if you deleted the text block A, and then the text block B, when undoing, the software will first recover the text block B and then the text block A.
