Use the Tracking main tab in Fred4 to perform the listed tasks.

To open a tracking layout from navigator

1.Open the Tracking main tab in Fred4 and display the navigator.

2.Click the Layouts navigator, and then select the title and other optional search criteria.

3.Click the refresh button to get the list of tracking layouts, corresponding to the search criteria entered.

4.Double-click a tracking layout.

5.Wait until layout loads.

To open a tracking layout from the list of recently opened items

To open one of last used layouts, on the File menu, point to Open recent layouts and then click its name.

To save tracking layout

On the File menu, click Save, and then enter the tracking name.

To delete tracking layout

Display a list of tracking layout as explained above.

Select a tracking layout. On the File menu, click Delete.

Deleted layouts remain in the GN4 system - and can be recovered - until purged.

Notes

•Tracking layouts may be purged together with editions or not, depending on your customized purge procedure. If they're not automatically purged, you may want to clean the list each now and then.

•If the loaded layout is unexpectedly empty, it may mean that the related edition was purged, but the tracking layout was not deleted, so it remain available for you to load it.
