Create a new article

1.On the Home screen, click Browse.

2.On the New menu, click Article.

3.Click the icon to select the folder for the new article, according to your privileges.

4.In Name, enter the unique name for the new article.

5.Enter optional data in other fields, if present.

6.Click OK to store the article in the database.

Create a new story

1.On the Home screen, click Browse.

2.On the New menu, click Story.

3.Click the icon to select the folder for the new story, according to your privileges.

4.In Title, enter the unique name for the new story.

5.Enter optional data in other fields, if present.

6.In Text, write the story text.

7.On other tabs, enter other (optional) data.

8.Click OK to store the story in the database.

Create a new story attaching automatically multimedia content

1.On the Home screen, click Browse.

2.Select the appropriate folder, and then select one or more multimedia elements to attach to the new story.

3.On the New menu, click Story from.

4.Click the icon to select the folder for the new story, according to your privileges.

5.In Title, enter the unique name for the new story.

6.Enter optional data in other fields, if present.

7.In Text, write the story text.

8.On other tabs, enter other (optional) data.

9.On the Content tab, review the attached content.

10.Click OK to store the story in the database.

Note

Article is the standard content container in GN4. All work with content is typically done in articles. Articles are published on Web and paper, and archived. Story is considered as a raw material (from correspondents, wires, etc.).
