To configure wildcards:

By default Exalead returns a maximum of 1,000 matches when using wildcards. This behavior may cause a

wrong number of results.

The changes have to be done manually directly into the configuration XML file.

•Edit the configuration file [DATADIR]/config/SearchlogicList.xml

•Change these values wildcardMaxMatches="1000" and wildcardTimeoutMS="20000"

The default should be 100 and 200 respectively. The values can also be further increased.

Remember that a very high number of matches may impact the system performance.

•Restart the Exalead service.
