Configure page names

Build 1501 on 14/Nov/2017  This topic last edited on: 6/Sep/2016, at 13:33

The naming convention of pages is configurable on the level of a title. You may want to change them if not satisfied with the system default names.

The changes affect .descName and .shortName of the page object. Note: the shortName is used for page captions in navigators and page labels on the page document tabs.

To change names, edit the related title.

Note: as the system needs to recompute the changed data, it may take longer than expected on databases with many pages. Moreover, the users may need to restart the applications to see the changed names.

To edit a title

In EdAdmin4

1.Run EdAdmin4, and then in the Editorial Objects section, click Titles.

2.Select a title in the listing, and then on the Action menu, click Edit.

In browser

1.Run Administrative Browser, and then on the Home page, click Titles.

2.Select a title in the listing, and then click Edit.
