You may want to configure the one-click-margins for the frames.

On the General subtab of the Extra tab on the Preferences dialog box, do the following:

•In Inner margins, enter the margins value, e.g. 2pt, for the text offset in the frame.

•In Parameters, enter the data for the border margin weight, border color, border tint, fill color and fill tint, e.g. 1pt,K,100,C,100 if you want a frame with 1pt black border and cyan fill, or 0pt,K,0,M,20 if you want a frame with no border and magenta fill of 20%. Note: you can enter only one margin, that gets applied symmetrically to all the frame sides.
