The naming convention of documents is configurable on the level of a title. You may want to change them if not satisfied with the system default names.
The changes affect .descName and .shortName of the document object.
To change names, edit the related title.
Note: as the system needs to recompute the changed data, it may take longer than expected on databases with many pages. Moreover, the users may need to restart the applications to see the changed names.
To edit a title
In EdAdmin4
1.Run EdAdmin4, and then in the Editorial Objects section, click Titles.
2.Select a title in the listing, and then on the Action menu, click Edit.
In browser
1.Run Administrative Browser, and then on the Home page, click Titles.
2.Select a title in the listing, and then click Edit.
To edit the document descName
On the Documents tab, enter a suitable XML in Document desc name.
To edit the document shortName
On the Document names tab, enter a suitable XML in Document short name.
To return to the default name
Simply delete all content of the field you want to restore the default value to.
