You may need to clone a GN4 Back4 server when adding new servers to a server farm, or for replacement.

The steps

1.Copy the entire TERA folder from the source server to the clone.

2.Locate and copy the upgrade commands file(s) from the source server to the clone.

3.Install all the fonts of the source server on the clone, in the Windows\Fonts folder.

4.Copy all the fonts of the source server from c:\Program Files\Common Files\TeraDP\PDFLib\Resource\Font on the source server to the same folder on the clone.

5.Copy the %APPDATA%\GN4\USERCONFIG.XML from the source server to the clone.

6.Perform the registering of COM components as explained in Register COM components.

7.Install Tera Back4 service as explained in Installing Back4

8.Start Back4 service.
