This listing is available in EdAdmin4 within the Back4 configuration section.
It contains the log of the Back4 background tasks. The log entries are automatically deleted after the time, specified in Back4 configuration.
The log displays a limited number of items. See the Filtering log paragraph to see how to change it.
For each task, the listing displays: •Time: the date and time when the task was completed, or "waiting to be executed". The latter appears if Back4 is busy with other tasks, but also when it is stopped or crashed. If the "waiting to be executed" status persists, check the Back4 functioning. •Elapsed time: the time elapsed from the time when the task was completed, or put in the queue. •User: the user who launched the task. •Type: the type of the task, that can be: workflow, data source, index, cleanup and other items, listed in the Filter dialog box. •Object: in case of workflows, the name of the workflow. •Status: the status icon: green tick means executed without errors, red exclamation point means errors, up arrow, means waiting in the queue. •Message: the message returned by the task. |
You may want to display only the log about specific tasks. Click the Filter button in the top toolbar to display the dialog box. Do one or more of the following: •In Time, specify the time range to look at, or leave empty, to display all logged tasks. •In Types, tick task types to include in the listing. •In Priorities, select the range of priorities. Tasks with such priorities will appear in the listing. •In Max tasks log, select how many items to display. Default is 50. •In Columns, tick columns to include in the listing. |
