ColorUsage Method

Description

Returns the color usage the object: 1 = black and white (line-art), 2 = grayscale, 3 = color, 4 = vectorial, ie not a bitmap. This value is valid only for pictures - the function returns 0 for any other kind of object.

Available in Ted and in Fred.

Syntax

iColorUsage = object.ColorUsage

object

Required. Object name. Returned by the GetObj function of the object, returned by Ted.GetActiveArticle.

Example

This script displays the color usage of the object.

  If Ted.HasActiveArticle Then

    Dim objArticle = Ted.GetActiveArticle

    Dim idx As Integer = objArticle.GetCurTxtIdx

    If idx >= 0 Then

      If objArticle.HasRefObj(idx) Then
