About images linked to pages

When you link an editorial image to a page, it obtains a geometry (page layout).

This link is created from Fred4 on the Pages main tab. Ted4 users on the Articles main tab cannot create such links - they can only assign editorial images to pages.

Once the editorial image is linked to a page, the Ted4 user on the Articles main tab can review (but not change) the page layouts related to images, dimensions and crop.

Note

You can link to a page only editorial images. If you drag a wire or archived image over a placeholder or an existing editorial image on a page, the wire or archived image is copied (cropped) into a new editorial image, and then linked to a page.
